Scenario:

The 4th and 5th grade social studies teachers come to the teacher librarian wanting to approach geography from a different angle. Together they decide to combine research about the Seven Wonders of the World and Google Earth.  Students will spend a couple of weeks researching the Wonders using subscription databases, taking notes and writing their own brief descriptions of the Wonders.  Students will then receive a lesson on Google Earth and create their own Google Trip of their Seven Wonders.
